I've had the device as a daily driver now, and I want to share with you guys my initial impressions of this device after using it for about a week. This is TK, let's check it out. So, here we have both the phantom red and the phantom blue. There's a third color, I think it's called the phantom black, that we heard about but didn't get a chance to check out. Supposedly, all three colors will support that nice little shimmer v-shape on the back, as you can see with both the red and the blue one. There was also mention of a pro version or a Machino version that's going to be announced, hopefully next week. Can't wait to check that out as I will be supporting and providing coverage for the launch event in Paris. As far as the specifications, both of these devices support eight gigs of RAM, 256 gigs of internal storage, running the Kirin 980 with the dual and PU. The operating system is based on Android 9.0 and called Magic UI. It's an evolution of what we've seen before with EMUI 9.0. As for the Machino version, there's going to be some additional features there, hopefully, you will check that out. But the main feature, of course, other than the fact that this device looks great, is the fact that we have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX sensor in the back that is basically at F1.8. It's supposed to be one of the higher megapixel sensors on the market. There's a fingerprint sensor on the back, no wireless charging even though we have glass.
