Instructions and Help about Why Form 8655 Desktop

Hi, crafty Patty here. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a baby nest, which is very popular with models right now. First, we will go over how to do the quilting on the bottom. We will also be making a cover pad to protect the baby. I'll teach you how to make your pattern from scratch. This baby nest can be used for newborn babies up to six months and older. To make the pattern, I used freezer paper and taped a couple of pieces together. I used my cutting board and an omni grid. I used a compass to make the corners. You can use a rotary cutter or scissors, a pencil, and tape to assemble the seams. For step two, you need to go around the whole outside of your pattern piece and measure up six inches. Draw a line all the way through. If you don't have an omni grid, you can use a regular ruler to measure up six inches. Make lines along your pattern and then connect them all. This should give you a six-inch border on all long and short sides of your pattern. Next, draw a line from the very corner through the cross-section where you made your lines from the six-inch measurements. This will create a cross-section. Then, use a ruler to connect your line. Your next step is to measure two inches from the side and draw a line. Do the same on the other side. To create the curves on the corners, measure down to about one and a half inches or three and a half centimeters from the cross-section point. Use a compass to mark this point. Then, move the compass until it touches both sides and draw your curve. Repeat the same process to mark...
