Instructions and Help about Which Form 8655 Feedback

I would like to talk about five forms of feedback which are excellent for coaching, but also for teaching. And it's really interesting to find out things that we're doing sometimes unconsciously. So here are the five forms of feedback: 1. "What a great class!" - This is judgmental feedback, as it is an opinion not based on data. 2. "I liked the way you led the activities." - This is personal observation feedback. 3. "The activities help students to learn." - This is inference feedback, as it is based on an impression but not explained. These three types of feedback are evaluative. Now let's move on to the next two types of feedback, which are focused on supporting thinking: 4. "You have used three strategies to assess students: a digital tool, asking them all, and an exit ticket." - This type of feedback is data-driven, based on what you have observed, and does not involve judgments. 5. "What might be some strategies you could use in your next class to reinforce students' learning?" - This is a reflective question, and a type of feedback that helps the person think about their own growth and improvement. I hope these five forms of feedback were helpful for you. To recap, the first one was judgmental, the second one was personal observation, the third one was inference, the fourth one was data-driven, and the fifth one was reflective. Thank you.
