So in this tutorial, I'm going to show you how I made my paper mache dress forms. I'm not going to show you how I did the exact paper mache because I just used the same principle as I used in my art dress, so I'll just put a link on the screen now that will take you to the actual art dress tutorial. That's how I do my paper mache. This is mainly for how to make that into a dress form. I've just completed the first layer of paper mache on my dress form girls. This is the small one. Now, this is the actual my scene doll shape which has a lovely little shape, but it is the smaller of the two dolls I've done. I've used newspaper this time, so I've got cling wrap around the doll. Then, I've got a layer, a thick layer of newspaper around here. Oh, um, remember the key to doing this is to use very small pieces of paper. I have my paper chopped here, but a lot of the time I'll make those even smaller once I'm done. This is the larger of the dolls. This is the one I made the art dress with. I've decided to use her as well this time, and as you can see, she's had her first coat, but she's also got a layer of gauze on her now. The reason we put the gauze on is so that we make the extra dress form nice and strong. I just use the medical gauze that Sophie sent me this time to be better.
