Music, welcome to So Anesthesia. Today, we are going to hem this super long sweater. It could practically be a dress on me because it is incredibly long. However, I'm also incredibly short, being only 5" tall. So, I'm going to make it into a crop sweater because I'm wearing high-waisted skinny jeans and crop sweaters are currently in style, and I want to be trendy. Let's cut it up and have it ready in no time. To do this, we will need a rotary cutter, a pair of fantastic scissors, sticker pins, and four spools of thread. If you don't have a serger, you can also use a straight stitch machine, in which case, one spool of thread will be sufficient. I would also suggest having a big quilting ruler or any ruler that you can guide your rotary cutter along. The most important thing you'll need is a really awesome sweater that you can shorten and make into a crop. Personally, I chose this one, but there are plenty of amazing sweaters out there that are ginormous in the men's department. Now, the first thing you're going to want to do is grab your sweater and put it on. We need to figure out how short you want it to be. I'm going to put on my green sweater. Voila! Now, grab your sticker pins because we are going to fold up our sweater where we want it and pin it. You can use a mirror or even ask a friend for their opinion. I'm going to use you. What do you think? How short should we go? Considering I'm wearing high-waisted jeans, I think right here is good. I have a binding on it, and I'm also going to cut the binding off and put it back on the bottom....
