Instructions and Help about What Form 8655 Posts

Hey guys, welcome back to XDA TV. Today, I'm going to share with you the process of how to restore or re-enable the always-on display on the OnePlus 6. This is Decaying from XDA TV. First thing I want to mention is that we need to have root access on our device. In the last video, I showed you how to unlock the bootloader and install the Magisk Installer and app manager. Once those are installed, you'll be able to turn on this functionality. I'll provide a link in the description for the file you'll need. If you haven't installed the latest update, you'll notice that you can go to "Display" and then "Ambient Display" to turn it on. However, after installing the update, this option is no longer available. The process to get it back is simple. You need to download the file called "OnePlus 5 Always-On Enabler". I'll provide the link in the description. Open the Magisk installer and go to "Modules". If the module is not showing, select it from the file manager and install it. You'll need to reboot your device. After the device restarts, go back to the settings tab, then "Display", and "Ambient Display". You'll notice that there are now more options available. Choose "Always On" to have the display on at all times. Once locked, your device will continue to display. It's a simple and easy process. Just make sure you have Magisk installed, download the module, install it, and reboot your device. I hope you found this process easy and helpful. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
