Hello everyone welcome to this brief recorded session looking at how much easier it is going to be to be a an actually filing agent or reporting agent for your clients you're not gonna have to create or apply for each company file and I don't mean you're gonna be batchi filing like in something you file queue for multiple company files right still do it within each company file to e-file however just being able to be a reporting agent and have the same five digit pin for all company files so you don't have to reapply for each one that should save you a lot of time so where do you go to set that up so in any file that you're you know some of you have enhanced payroll enhanced payroll for accountants and you go into the employees menu just open up when your clients file your file and you want to go to the payroll Center and there's three sections here in the bottom section file tax forms under related form activities click the drop-down and choose edit filing methods which is going to launch the payroll setup wizard which I believe we added in 2024 now I'm gonna click on filing methods just because a lot you know it defaults to print and mail right so make sure that you've changed it by going in here and editing just to make sure you have it selected to e-file right which i've done and notices a new option here select how you want to file the 949 for 940 for filing as accountant as a reporting agent on behalf of a client so this is new this will be different so you do that for each one and then go to enrollments and here would...
