Instructions and Help about Form 8655 Businesses

Music welcome today. We're going to focus on this garment. I absolutely love it. Let me tell you a little bit about its history, and then we'll show you how to make it. Dan Lawson is a costume designer in New York City. His main job right now is on the set of The Good Wife. I've never watched the show, but I did a little research, especially after hearing him speak about how important clothing is for women today because it conveys messages. There are so many things that he said that I agreed with. I agreed that we want exactly what this embodies, which is why I loved it. It's a herringbone, which is traditionally very strong and male, and a very soft drapey whatever, and it works really well even though those combinations traditionally have not been done. So I love this. It's meant to be just about the waist, maybe a little above it. It's meant to be asymmetric. I want you to look at it. I did it in a herringbone number one because that's what it was, but number two because I wanted you to see how the bottom there is straight. It's completely straight across the bottom front and back. The back of the front are done just the same, and then it just drops down to give a very youthful feminine graceful look. I just love it and I love how it feels on. There are so many times outside when it's cold where I have my clothes on inside and I just want to run outside and I want another layer so I can throw this on. It's got a great little cowl. You can turn it. You know, you could use any base you wanted, but we'll get to that....
