Hey guys, welcome back to XTA. Today, I'm going to talk to you about my favorite file manager. It recently received a major material design update and some new features that were never available in the first version. So, without further ado, I want to talk about Solid Explorer. Solid Explorer is an application that I have been using for a long time. In the original version, it looked good and had a lot of functionality. You were able to use a tool panel and do split-screen, which is one of the main benefits of this application. Additionally, it has a built-in FTP server and offers various customizable settings for different file types. Now, let's talk about the major update. One noticeable change is the heavy material design that has been implemented. The graphics are extremely smooth, and you can still select folders, move things between panels, and enjoy the split-screen feature. An exciting aspect of the update is the ability to install themes and customize the application using them. In the new version, you can also view the properties of different folders. For example, if you go into a folder, it aggregates all the information about it. It shows the file types, top files, and other relevant data in a neat little graph. The developers have put a lot of effort into making the application aesthetically pleasing. On the left side, you still have the ability to add FTP sites and use different connections. But now, there's a new feature that aggregates your photos, music, videos, and applications. When you go into the applications section, it lists all the APKs on the system, separating them between user and system.
