A 1099 miscellaneous form is used for independent contractors and freelancers. First, select a year for your document. Identify what fields you can ignore. For more information regarding the components of your document, see "What is a 1099 form?" on the landing page. Complete the fields on the left side of the form with the employer's contact info and federal identification number, as well as those of the recipient. Refer to the glossary of the form to determine what other sections you should fill out. To complete the different fields of the document, simply click "click to add" and fill in your information. Once you're finished completing the document fields, click the green export button located at the top right of your form.
