This will be my audience. Thank you, ladies. Hi, my name is Patricia Cargo. And I will be showing you how to fill out a bank deposit slip. Okay, make sure that it is in your handwriting so that you can ensure the teller will process it correctly. That is very important. There are two different types of deposit slips. One deposit slip is the one that you get from your check register, and this is the best deposit slip to use. There is also another counter deposit slip that you can get from the bank, and this is also okay to use. However, with today's technology, you can simply use a debit card to provide your information and avoid filling out a deposit slip. Additionally, there is direct deposit where you don't have to fill out a deposit slip either. The money goes directly into your account. But, in case you still need to manually fill one out, I will show you how. This type of deposit slip already has your name, address, and account number on it, which is very helpful for the teller. Make sure you date the slip. Your cash will be listed in the "Cash" section, and any checks you have should be listed in a separate area. If you have more than three checks, you can use the back of the slip or make a copy of it and enlarge it for better understanding. Ensure that you list all the checks for the teller and that they are written correctly and legibly. If you have any leftover cash that you would like back, list it in the designated area and then calculate the total.
