Hey guys, welcome back! Next year, today we're going to take a look at a widget that will give you access to your most frequently used applications on your system. Let's check it out! The application we're looking at today is called the MRU (Most Recently Used) widget. Essentially, it's a grid of applications that you've recently used. This is different from your recently used system because you can actually clear this and open it up again. Currently, I'm using Omni Switch, so it looks different than a normal system. But you'll notice here that the list gets updated as I'm using applications. The beauty of this widget is that if you have a set of apps that are your core apps that you use all the time, they will more than likely be in this list, making it very functional for quick access without having to search for them. For example, let's say I go back into my "+". I've launched the application and this is the review that just went up today. Then I'll go ahead and go to the Play Store. Again, I'll go back home. You'll notice that the list itself has a refresh rate, so it updates and shows the last two recently used applications. You can expand it to see more. Now let's get into the actual settings for this widget. There is a pro and a free version. We are currently looking at the free version. Within the app, you have the ability to blacklist certain applications and choose what to show. You can also show the count, force it to go right or left, and set the vertical alignment. Most recently used obviously refers to the applications that you want to be pulling on. By default, you have the ability to turn on vibration when selecting something....
