Instructions and Help about Are Form 8655 Associations

Music. This video is on the laser system of dual designation. I have another video on what is tool designation and wireless system. If you want to take a look, dual designation is basically a set of six angles and nose radius that defines the geometry of the cutting tool. So, the ASN system also has seven parameters. The angles are based on sections along three planes. The first one is the horizontal reference plane, also called PI R. The plane perpendicular to PI R containing the feed direction is called the X plane or PI X. The third plane Y plane is perpendicular to both the reference plane and X plane, also called PI Y. Now, we are going to take sections along the explained and Y plane and look normal to them. If we cut the tool along the explained, the rake face will make an angle with the horizontal plane PI R, called side rake angle. The principle flange will also make an angle with the vertical PI Y, called end clearance angle. Next, if we cut the tool along the Y plane and look normal to it, we will see PI R and PI X become horizontal and vertical lines. Again, this angle is called top rake angle or back rake angle, and this one is called front clearance angle. Now, coming back to the lathe, looking from the top, this angle between the primary cutting edge and Y direction is called side cutting edge angle. This angle between the auxiliary cutting edge and feed direction is called end cutting edge angle. Every tool also has a nose radius. The six angles and nose radius makeup the seven parameters essential for defining the dual geometry. In ORS, the plane system is based on the principle cutting edge,...
